Tamizhshopper helps you order groceries from stores near you in Madurai. Please read this short page before you place an order. By using the site you agree to it.

What Tamizhshopper is

Tamizhshopper is an online marketplace. The stores on the site are separate businesses. They set their own prices, decide what is in stock, pack your order and deliver it with their own riders. Tamizhshopper provides the website and the tools that connect you to them.

Some stores may be run by Tamizhshopper itself. Where that is the case, the store page says so.

Placing an order

• An order is a request to the store. It is only confirmed when the store accepts it. Stores have five minutes to accept; if they do not, the order lapses and you are not charged.
• The store may change an order, for example by removing an item that is out of stock. You will see what changed.
• Prices and stock shown are set by the store and can change. The total shown when you place the order is what you pay, including any delivery fee.
• You must give a correct address and a phone number where the store can reach you.

Payment

You pay the store when your order arrives, in cash or by UPI. We do not take card details or payment in advance. Please keep the right amount ready.

Delivery

Each store chooses its delivery area, minimum order and delivery fee. These are shown before you place an order. Delivery times are estimates. If nobody is available to receive the order, the store may cancel it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not place false orders or misuse the site. We may block accounts that do.

When things go wrong

See our cancellations and refunds page. Because stores pack and deliver the goods, we will help you reach the store and will step in when a problem is not resolved.

Limits

We try to keep the site running and accurate, but we cannot promise it is always available or error-free. Product images are for guidance. Tamizhshopper is not responsible for the goods themselves beyond helping resolve a complaint with the store.

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
