We collect only what we need to get your groceries to you. This page explains what, why, and who sees it.

What we collect

• Your name, mobile number and email address.
• Your delivery addresses and the map position you choose.
• Your orders: what you ordered, from which store, when, and how you paid.
• Basic technical data needed to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

• To pass your order to the store and let the store deliver it to you.
• To show you your order status and history.
• To help you if something goes wrong with an order.
• To keep the site safe and fix problems.

Who sees it

The store you order from sees your name, phone number, address and what you ordered, so it can pack and deliver. Stores cannot see your other orders from other stores. Tamizhshopper staff can see orders when needed to help with a problem.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on the site.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase for the database and Vercel for the website), in secure systems with access limited to what the site needs.

Cookies and local storage

The site keeps your sign-in session and remembers your chosen area and basket on your device. It uses nothing for advertising.

Messages

Stores may receive WhatsApp alerts about new orders. We only message stores that have agreed to receive them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Some order records may need to be kept for accounting. Use the contact details below.
